Queensland MineTech Forum to Highlight Cutting-Edge Mining Technologies in Jakarta

Kelastambang: The Queensland MineTech Forum will take place on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2025, at the GPN Stage, Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran, featuring global mining leaders and innovators who will share solutions to improve safety, efficiency, and sustainability in the sector.

According to the official program, the forum is part of Mining Indonesia 2025 and will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is hosted by Trade and Investment Queensland as a platform for strategic discussions, technology presentations, and networking opportunities.

Speakers include Darryl Crowder, chief operating officer of Global Air Cylinder Wheels; Rachmat Hamid Musa, head of geotechnical at GroundProbe; and Syainal Abidin, mine geotechnical engineer at PT Pamapersada Nusantara. They will be joined by Wahyu Asmoro Nursandi and Hery Setyawan from PT Kaltim Prima Coal, as well as Sujatmiko, advisor to PT Pilarmas Solusi Gemilang.

International perspectives will also be represented by Josh Dickinson, country manager of Victaulic; Dush Wimal, director of Universal Field Robots; Malcolm Davies, international sales and export manager at National Plastics; and David Handel, technical director at RST Solutions.

Technology-focused contributions are expected from Bill Haylock, managing director of PX4 Software, and Paul Eagleson, operations manager at PX4 Software. Nilus Rahmat, general manager of UBPE Pongkor at PT Antam Tbk, and Brett McGuire, principal of Bisnis Asia, are also scheduled to speak.

The organizers said the event will feature practical solutions through presentations, strategic discussions, and networking sessions. Participants will be able to engage directly with industry experts to explore innovations that aim to shape a safer, more efficient, and sustainable mining future.
