KELASTAMBANG: PT Vale Indonesia Tbk announced that construction progress on its Indonesia Growth Project (IGP) Sorowako Limonite (Sorlim) in South Sulawesi has reached 25% completion as of early October 2025, marking a key milestone in the company’s sustainable growth roadmap.
According to the company’s update, the ongoing development includes the construction of stockpile areas, operation camps, and supporting infrastructure, all of which are beginning to take shape at the project site. The Sorlim project represents one of Vale’s strategic initiatives to strengthen its nickel production capacity while ensuring operations are conducted responsibly and sustainably.

PT Vale emphasized that the achievement reflects the collaboration and dedication of its teams and partners in maintaining high standards of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) performance.
