Petrosea signs Rp 2.5t loan deal with Bank Mandiri to support EPC growth

Kelastambang: PT Petrosea Tbk signed a term loan facility agreement worth Rp 2.5 trillion with state-owned lender PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk on Aug. 28, 2025, to finance capital expenditure and working capital for its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business, according to a company disclosure.

The facility, which carries an eight-year term from the date of signing, is intended to enhance the company’s operational and financial performance. “The Company will utilize the loan facilities from creditor to improve its operational and financial performance. The facilities will have a positive impact on the Company’s business continuity,” Petrosea stated in a letter to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange.

The agreement does not fall under affiliated or conflict-of-interest transactions as defined by OJK Regulation No. 42/POJK.04/2020. It is also exempt from material transaction provisions under Article 11 of OJK Regulation No. 17/POJK.04/2020, as the funds are designated for business development and expansion in the company’s core operations.

The company emphasized that the transaction will not have a material effect on its legal standing, financial condition, or business continuity.

Petrosea said the loan supports its strategy to strengthen its position in the EPC segment. No further details were provided regarding the disbursement schedule or project allocations.
