Jakarta will host the inaugural Indonesia Green Mineral Investment Forum (IGMIF) on 2 October 2025, organized by the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industry/BKPM in collaboration with WRI Indonesia. The event will convene policymakers, investors, clean technology providers, industry leaders, and international partners to explore opportunities in sustainable mining and green mineral development.
Positioned as a prelude to the Indonesia International Sustainability Forum (ISF) 2025, the IGMIF is designed to highlight Indonesia’s readiness to serve as a strategic partner for green investment in the mineral sector. The forum will focus on advancing clean energy transition initiatives and supporting the development of low-carbon industries through concrete collaborations.

By bringing together global stakeholders, the IGMIF is expected to set the stage for long-term partnerships that align Indonesia’s mineral wealth with international sustainability goals. Organizers emphasize that the forum will provide a platform to showcase investment opportunities that accelerate downstream development while contributing to global decarbonization efforts.
