IEE Series 2025 Draws 74,704 Trade Visitors Across Two Weeks

Kelastambang: Pamerindo Indonesia concluded the Indonesia Energy & Engineering (IEE) Series 2025 on September 20 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, hosting over 2,350 exhibiting companies and attracting 74,704 professional visitors, as part of a national drive toward sustainable industrial transformation, according to an official company statement.

Held over two consecutive weeks from September 10 to 20, IEE Series 2025 combined ten major trade exhibitions across energy, mining, and infrastructure sectors. The second week featured Mining Indonesia, Oil & Gas Indonesia, Electric & Power Indonesia, and the inaugural editions of The Battery Show Indonesia and Data Center Asia – Indonesia. The first week opened with Construction Indonesia, Concrete Show Southeast Asia, Building Systems & Automation Indonesia, Water Indonesia, and ADEXCO. The total exhibition area exceeded 143,000 square meters.

“With this two-week format, we saw significantly stronger enthusiasm compared to last year. Many brands participated across both indoor and outdoor zones, and total professional attendance reached more than 74,704, up from 64,374 in 2024,” said Lia Indriasari, Country Manager of Pamerindo Indonesia. “Beyond the numbers, we are proud to have once again aligned our programs with the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs), maintaining the achievement from last year.”

The organiser emphasized its role in facilitating Indonesia’s sustainable industrial shift through multi-stakeholder collaboration. Representatives from key ministries—including the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs, the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), and the National Standardization Agency (BSN)—participated in panels and technical sessions. Delegations from the European Union and Sweden also joined, alongside leading industry associations such as ASPINDO, APNI, ASPERMIGAS, NBRI, PJCI, IDPRO, and WiME Indonesia.

Academic institutions including Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Gadjah Mada, and Institut Teknologi Bandung contributed to expert-led seminars and discussions. Through the Student-Visit program, 1,131 students from 16 education institutions attended the exhibition, gaining direct exposure to industry innovations and technologies.

“Throughout IEE Series 2025, we observed a significant increase in collaboration with both international and local brands showcasing environmentally friendly technologies,” Lia said. “Just from the outdoor exhibition, which featured around 250 heavy equipment units, we saw a clear shift towards electric machinery, hybrid trucks, high-blend biodiesel vehicles, and the adoption of AI and data-driven systems to support sustainable operations.”

Exhibitors used the platform to present applied solutions to potential clients. Izhul Laksana, Application Engineering Head of United Tractors, said, “We are showcasing Smart Technology, including Smart Construction. From the digital maps here, all operational units can be monitored in real time. They can’t misplace benchmarks anymore because everything is GPS- and data-integrated.”

Yulius Sikku, Sales & Marketing Director of GM Tractors, added, “We introduced several of our EV trucks, and some units were sold in the first week alone. Our products—including electric trucks, excavators, and a 120-ton wide-dump truck—have gained traction, and several clients are now planning to transition their fleets progressively. This is a very positive outcome for us, considering our involvement in this exhibition since 2007.”

Pamerindo Indonesia also promoted sustainability awareness among participants through the Better Stands program, which encourages exhibitors to reduce disposable materials and apply eco-conscious booth designs. The 2025 edition saw a 70 percent increase in participation in this initiative compared to the previous year.

Other sustainability measures included strict waste management in partnership with Ecoloop and Jangjo, reuse of materials from previous exhibitions, upcycling of booth components into merchandise via collaborations with Rappo and Repair Project, and the installation of refillable water stations in cooperation with Pureve. For transport, electric vehicle charging services were provided by SSKTama, while DFSK and INVI operated the official EV shuttle buses.

The organiser also launched the Mining Indonesia Operator Championship, which for the first time included a Female Operator category. The initiative aimed to promote inclusivity and gender equity in the mining and heavy machinery sectors.

“The achievements of IEE Series 2025 reflect Indonesia’s progress toward sustainable industrial transformation. This event has proven to be a critical platform for connecting global solutions with national priorities,” Lia said.

IEE Series 2026 is scheduled to return with an expanded scope. From September 2–5, 2026, the event will host Electric & Power Indonesia, The Battery Show Asia – Indonesia, and Data Center Asia – Indonesia. From September 9–12, it will feature Construction Indonesia, Concrete Show Southeast Asia, Mining Indonesia, Oil & Gas Indonesia, Water Indonesia, and the co-located ADEXCO and GIFA-METEC Indonesia.
