KelasTambang: The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Bahlil Lahadalia, on Monday officially appointed Ahmad Syauqi as Director of Technical and Environmental Affairs for Minerals and Coal at the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal, according to the ministry’s press release issued the same day (No. 086.Pers/04/SJI/2025).
Syauqi previously held the position of Inspector IV at the Inspectorate General. His new role was formalised in a swearing-in ceremony conducted at the Chairul Saleh Auditorium, ESDM Ministry Headquarters, Jakarta.
The appointment was part of a broader reshuffle of 32 high-ranking officials across multiple directorates within the ESDM Ministry. The rotation included structural changes across the electricity, oil and gas, renewables, geology, and mining sectors.
According to the press release, other officials assigned to new posts included:
- Hendra Gunawan, formerly Director of Technical and Environmental Affairs for Mineral and Coal, appointed Director of Oil and Gas Programme Development.
- Eri Nurcahyanto appointed Director of Technical and Environmental Affairs for Electricity.
- Andriah Feby Misna appointed Director of Strategic Electricity Development.
- Wakhid Hasyim appointed Head of tekMIRA (Balai Besar Pengujian Mineral dan Batubara) under the Directorate General of Mineral and Coal.
